Well Cameron has at least tried to keep himself away from major movies until he found a good one. Other than Speilberg who just seems to be cashing in of late.

The Hangover 9/10
I've seen it before, but it's so good I had to buy it. Extremely funny. I hope Zach Galfinakis finally gets the respect he deserves.
The Crazies 7.5/10
Pretty good horror movie. At times, relies too much on the horror cliches that have dragged down other movies, i.e. really silent and then loud jump scares. But it does set up some creepy atmosphere here and there.
One of the minor characters stills the show IMO. The sheriff's deputy. Looking up on his IMDB credits he's from London. I was quite surprised, he had a very good accent. I'm more and more convinced that UK actors are better at doing American accents than vice versa.

Lol, what?
Interesting tidbit about The Crazies, some of it was shot in the town I temporarily reside in. I couldn't tell it in the movie , though. Apparently they used a huge abandoned warehouse for some scenes.

At the end when John is in the assembly-line and we see an old friend re-appear. I was smiling for ear to ear when I saw that. Really well done too, I couldn't tell it was CGI.
So what you're acutally saying is that they filmed in a warehouse near where you currently are. Quite some claim to fame you've got there

That's what I was thinking about the naked man referring to Arnold, but wanted to be sure.
Well, if I actually liked this town I might defend it, but couldn't care less about it. Just a temporary stop for school. I'm going to have to rent the DVD to see why they decided to film here. I mean, surely there were closer abandoned buildings to shoot than here.

Yeah, the budget was like 15 million. I do know the government has pushed hard for more movies to get made in my state. Tax breaks and incentives. But they usually shoot at our capital, Atlanta. Not middle of backwoods Georgia.

Starman
It's a 1984 sci-fi movie directed by John Carpentar. Jeff Bridges was nominated for an Oscar for it, and he deserved it. There are some odd things about it that bothered me, but the actor's performances were good.
7/10
The Hurt Locker
One word: tense. The way it was shot, very tense. I mean there were these moments where they are clearing areas, where no dialogue was spoken, just spooky. It's very deserving of all the accolades it's been receiving.
